weird sanding noise

i always here this weird sanding noise, im hearing it right now. i dont know wtf it is, and it happens most when im home alone.


i turned all tv's off, radios, computer and i still hear it

its freaking me out:scary:

even if they were, my room is in the back of the house and i wouldnt hear it if they were.

My ears make a ringin noise when its really quiet, but i think its just my ears.

Probly a mouse or squirel in your wall. there are a cupple in my house scence my dog died. Damn thoes things are anoying.

Or if you have an amplified base unit (speaker) somewhere (like a surround sound system), it may be dumping excess energy when the radio is off. Unplug all base units, and see if it goes away.

The scientific way...The sound you hear when it's quiet has something to do with all the noise that destroyed your ear drum cells. How the sound is made is far past my knowledge.Sounds weird, but a doctor told me once in school.:)

Yeah, the doctor came in Comp and Lit so I fell asleep. Ever fall asleep, and don't know it..And when you go to wipe your mouth, you realize you've been drooling for the past 3-4 minutes? It happened that day.

i get that noise when it's silent too, i thought my hearing was buggered from all the noise from tractors, my truck, lawnmowers, bobcats, quads, bikes, etc. Thank god:p

I have the custom tuning / selective hearing option special ordered for my voices. Weeds out all the unecessary "wash clothes" and "cut the grass" or "buy Chad a Raptor 700". Worth every penny.... :D
