Does anybody have any telekinetic abilities at all? ive been trying it for about a month or so and so far no results...its hard to concentrate on one thing and actually feel it...most of you probably have no idea what im talking about and think im insane but im curious if anybody else is into it:devil:

I can't bring myself to believe in something like that. How can someone move something without actually touching it:confused:

you only use about 10% of your brain, maybe somewhere in that other 90% is for that stuff:confused:

most people cant do it...it takes the ability to concentrate on something for long periods of time..i been so stressed out lately it interfears with things but im close...it takes an incredible amount of mind control to do things, any it seems noone who can do it is willing to help others...ill get it eventually lol

dude, your drunk, give me your car keys...

i think its all a crock, there is no way your brain or body can assert the physical, mental, energetic force to actually move something just by concentrating on it

maybe your just saw xmen 3 this weekend, and thought it would be cool to pretend to be like gene grey?

My parents are good friends with a neighbor of ours that is a Native American spiritual healer. My parents convinced me to get one of these healings, and I swear to you all, i'm 100% serious, at one point I was levitating on the table. I'm not joking at all, i'm 100% serious. It changed my views on that subject, to say the least. And yes. i'm sure there were no wires or anything else involved.

A sweet book about this subject is Carrie by Stephen King. I read it this year for a book report and it is pretty cool. If you are actually interrested in it you should read it. I'm not a big reader at all, but that is one of the few books I liked.

Just so you know, that is a standard misleading claim that the so called "science/biology" teachers like to make. In reality you use 100% of your brain. However, you are only using 10% +/- of it at any given point in time. They like to pull out one piece of the fact and discard the rest of the story to make a statment, that isn't necessirally true.

Also, I do not beleive in telekenesis. It takes force to move an object. To apply a force, requires a source of energy, since energy cannot be created or destroyed. You mind/thoughts are powered with electrical energy. Moving an object requires kenetic energy. Somehow, electrical energy needs to be converted to kenetic energy. Your body does have a way to do that. It's called muscle tissue. So technically if you reach out and smack an object, you actually used your mind to move an object.. lol.

Bwamos, I always love reading your posts. You can actually prove a pont and make sense out of something like this. I usually just make up words to sound like it. :p

the first step is truly believing.

then learning to meditate
(i bet no one in here can count 10 seconds withought having some other thought go through their mind)

then eventually maybe you could move a snow flake?

monks work their entire lives and only a handfull have ever figure out how to move or do anything like this.... and no even they cant just throw large objects across rooms like in xmen.

no one in the sivilized world will ever figure it out i dont think, way too many distractions, stress, things like that.

Not to start a religious debate here, but some people belief that God didn't give us the ability to use the other 90% because it is intended to help us understand the spiritual realm later on.

It's like me thinking I can walk on water when I'm drunk. I truely belive I am walking on water even when I am in the water, but its not happening or nor will it ever happen.

Josh just what the hell are you doing in the water when you're drunk?!?

EDIT: And I pretty much have to agree with Bwamos' post. I am also very skeptical of this; you would need to provide a necessary link that channels whatever force of the mind it is that is doing this.
How exactly does one go about channeling electrical firings between neurons into a force that can move something or otherwise influence?

I'm all for unusual occurences, but I don't care how much one concentrates-- where is the link? It doesn't just float out there.

Just some info for those folks that are still convinced that we only use 10% of our brains.
