Today at work i was sittin around and i got a Text message from a member of the site donnie... i'm pretty sure it was a member of his family writing me the text tellin me that he was injured...


Most of u know him as alky, chef, or donnie the member of the "hardass" class... text message read that he broke his neck racing this weekend in a midget racecar... i sent a few back and forth and they said he is ok and will be better in awhile... he has feeling in his legs and stuff and hes hittin on the girls in the hospital (typical for him haha)...


i figured i'd post this up to let you guys know since almost everyone on this site should know him... i'll try to get some more info... they never responded to the last text message i sent but soon as i get a reply i'll keep everyone updated...

Thanks everybody-Im getting better fast. I was supposed to be in rehab for 10 days but I was only there for 1 before I was released to outpatient. The worst part is my neck itches inside the neck brace, and I have to have 2 shots a day in my stomache.

Wilkin , I'm not sure about Chef's case for the shots in the stomach , but everytime I've been in the hospital or had surgery they always gave me shots of blood thinners in the stomach to reduce the risk of blood clots .

2 shots a day x being in the hospital for 14 days = stomach black and blue looking like a pin cushion .

Yep, the shots are for blood thinners. The suck but its only for 15 more days. Im kinda drugged up heavy right now, my neck is hurting...so if there typos Im sorry haha.

Ryan-I was racing at South Sound Speedway. In the midget. I will post the whole explanation up tomorrow when im not so out of it....lol. Heres a pic to ponder until then.

Good thing for the roll cage though .... but things could have been a lot worse than they are right now .

Damn, broke off at the welds huh? Was it a weak penetration weld or did you hit it that hard?

Definately glad you're "OK".

If you look close enough you'll see the welds didnt break-the tubes did. I hit the concrete block at upwards of 90 mph upside down on the corner of the block....and the block weighed twice as much as the car.
