looking into getting a +2 stem for a 250r. so what brand has a good price for a good strong product. I have seen the burgards on ebay for 189 with the clamp and their chrome. Don't really want to mess with used. have seen the herrmans too but can't remember the price. Plus any places you guys go threw for the best prices and service. I think i want a +2 to go with a 4gal clark gas tank and i have t2 bars right now opinions?

my friend has the chrome burgard looks sweet and seems to hold up really well looks like a good peice. I really like the herrmann products however I have no expeirence with them but I knew of a guy that MXed a set of their A Arms and liked them, Their products seem to be really strong and well built so either brand I think would be a good choice .

I have a houser +1 and love it. I flipped my bike acouple times last weekend on a 50 foot double, let's just say handlebars and everything else was bent, except my stem.

I second the Houser. Great product at a reasonable price.

I have a Houser on my 450r, and I like it. I haven't crashed with it yet so I can't say how tough it is.

i've seen a few different stems for the 450r and some are solid like the stocker and some have alot of flex to them.i really don't know if a lot of flex is good or not.

Houser is one of the nicest ones Ive seen/used. They are one of only two or three who use a gusset at the point where the stem meets the clamp area. I think roll might have been the other but they are crazy expensive. Go with the houser, or burgard if your on a budget.

i have a burgard 2 and and there is alot of flex at the stem b.c. its made for the 400Ex thats why they give u a different bushing because its thinner.

Pm pappy or go to BK Performance. i got my stem for 175 new.

I had an Arens on my 400 and never had any problems with it. Now I have the Houser on my 450 and it seems to be built really well.
