Max Life of Gas

I always wanted to know, how long can you leave gas in the tank of your quad and expect it to be good. I have had gas in my tank for a month becuase I havent gotten to ride in a while. Another question... Does putting sta-bil in your tank help out with gas life or is it not good for quads?

a few months at the most, but in that few months it will lose a buch of octane points

depends on what gas you are running...
pump gas- me personally i wouldnt run pump gas that was more than a month old, more like 2 to 3 weeks, but i ride a two stroke...

4 strokes you can get away with it, but its not neccessarily good... probably dirty up your carb a bit...

thats part of why i run av gas- it stays better for much longer...
