I live in NY and am looking for some dunes to ride in. Where are the closest dunes to me? It's gonna be a big trip but need a good place to ride. Thanks for the help!

We have Silver Lake sand dunes here in Michigan.

We have the Silver Lake dunes in Mears Michigan. I know there is prabably somewhere closer to where you live.

If your planning to go on a big trip. I would head to Glamis, CA. I heard it's great. I know it is far, But just a thought. I plan to go someday for sure. Just need the money and time to go if you know what I mean. :)

Probably not, I highly recommend Silverlake, unless you wanna cross the Mississippi River it's your best bet. It's 6 hrs. drive from Cleveland.

Sounds great! All I know is Michigan is a hell of a lot closer than California, although I'd LOVE to ride in Glamis!

It is called Patten Vally sand dunes i have seen pic on a web site trying to find out more about it.I live in middleburgh map quested it and it said 2 hour drive little past newburgh.Any way when i know more i will post it.
