Alright, its time for soem new shocks on the yfz.....idk wat to get. Im lookin at either tcs, the fox evol, or custom axis. I have rode the tcs before and i like them but never rode the other 2. jsut wanted to see wat everyone else thought i should get...

Loving my evols! Lots of adjustability and they ride very smooth. My quad corners way better and I have yet to bottom them out. Pretty good price too. I went from the podium X's to these and it was night and day. Hope this helped.

Every one is going to suggest what they are running them selves.
I have ridden both and would say to go with Axis but you will be happy with either choice. They are both a huge improvement over stock. You also should consider PEP.
Pep sets them up a little more fine tuned for your riding style and body weight. All the others just kind of round everything off.
Good luck!!!

id go evols for the adjustability and from personal experience id buy them over any other shock.

Liek stated above, everyone will suggest what they are running. I would reccomend looking into PEP, thats what I run. If you dont want to run PEP's, I would look into the fox sure.

what is the differance between zps and regular......iv heard with zps u have to hit jumps faster...is that true and is it worth it?

zps means zero preload shock.. it makes the bike sit lower.. not to sure on the speed thing though.

Your right, Mark is a very nice quy. And gets you your stuff fast! I know they take a while on the shocks, but that is different since they are custom for you. But we needed a bushing on my rear PEP and he got it to us in 2 days. It takes some companies that freakin long to answer the darn phone.

I currently run Custom Axis on both of my YFZ's. I love the performance, however, I've been wanting to give the Fox Evols a try.

I am strongly considering going from my current Custom Axis shocks over to the PEP comp/reb adjust shocks, but its not going to be until next season.

I love the look of the piggyback , but unfortunatly i have only the ablility to run the rem rezzies because of my swaybar setup..

Have any of you guys ever run the PEPs on a 450r?

I have JD LT arms btw..

I rode my fox airfloats for the first time last sunday. I was very impressed for the price. I haven't done anything to the rear yet. But it rode like a cadillac over rocks, dips, and jumps.
