Hey guys, I decided I am going to get a set of Works for my 300ex. Just wondering, since I cant find a website with prices on them, its about $350 for the fronts and how much for the rears? I dont want to not have rears and have the fronts, wanna get them both  Also, I was told by another member here about a raptor rear suspension on my 300ex, anyone ever heard of anything on this ? ? ?

One more Q, should I go +1 or +2 for my axles and A arms? :blah

Ill ask about what A arms and axles are best for the money later after I get suspension hehe.

yea i ve heard that a raptor shock bolts right up to a 300 but a ultracross rear shock for a 300 is about 800 - 900 bucks. id just go with a raptor shock, at least thats what im doin.

:D Good stuff, I emailed Marty @ the quad shop to get a little more info on that whole shin dig about the raptor shock. Sounds like it might be a good idea money wise and recreational wise for some, I rode a friend's raptor and its all stock, that thing sat pretty soft.

If you weigh less than 200lbs, you may want to run a stock 400ex shock spring on the Raptor body. The spring rate on the Raptor shock is pretty stiff!

Well I weigh around 135 lbs so I guess thats pretty light, and I do want a little more soopy rear so i can go over alot of the stuff i do and not have my back end bouncing around as much as it does now. So I should put a 400ex spring on a 2001 raptor shock body your saying? that will fit up nicely right ?

Jay Yep, we did this on bradly300ex's quad and he weighs the same as you! It worked out perfect!

:D Cool. I would probably have to buy the parts and have a mechanic put them together huh. If I could put it together myself that would be cool, just probably need some of that fine tuning to adjust it to my weight . The Raptor part is probably going to be expensive cause its from Yamaha aint it ?? Do you know if there is any other parts I'm going to need to buy with it, like mounting bolts or such, or does it all come when you order the stock parts?

Thanks again!

The best thing to do is find one on Bluetraxx.com or ebay! You will reuse the stock 300ex bolts and use big zip ties to mount the rezzy on the subframe. You can probally change out the spring yourself.
