The sun was shining and things were heating up early at Fort Dodge, IA. Thank goodness there was a breeze because the temperature was going to rise into the 90's this Memorial Day weekend.

Dewey Kunkel stock class champion for 2005 and his son Brandon, also a stock class champion in the 90 stock class for 2005. Brandon has taken the big step up from the 45 minute youth race to entering the junior class and running for 2 hours.

This guy got 1st. We battled the whole race from the back of the pack then he got around some lappers and I didnt. I ended up in 3rd. I think I was 18th on the first lap. It was alot easier to get through everyone because we started on the first row. Was a really fun race for me.
