Silver Lake Memorial Day Weekend pics

Here are a few snapshots from my trip to silver lake on memorial day weekend. The weather was perfect. Not a cloud in the sky all weekend and boy was it hot!! I even took a dip in the very warm waters of lake michigan to cool off. The only tragedy I had with my quad was I was changing front sprockets and I snapped off the bolt inside my motor, so I just tack welded a sprocket right on the shaft, and she ran like a champ this morning. I was able to get some shots of the dunes with nobody on them this morning because everyone rides saturday and sunday, then leave on monday. The best day to ride was today (monday) because I had the whole place to myself!! I just kept the 250R pinned everywhere I went and the sand was smoothed over from the day before from the winds fixing all the ruts. Let me know what you think about the pics.

This feller was parked next to us. He had a very nice set up in this thing. Some sort of crotch rocket motor, it said zx-11 on his exhaust pipe. This thing was music to my ears, and I like how clean it looks, not just thrown together.

Silver lake is fun when its empty. when it gets packed it can be a pain to ride, but then its fun to watch all the mayhem.
