I have a stock tire and rim for my 300ex and I am trying to get the tire off, so that I can put a holeshot XC on the front, so that I have a good spare. The thing is that I dont have a tire changer and I cant get the bead to break. I have ran it over with my dads jeep wrangler and my moms F-150. Is there any thing else that I can do to break it?

Thanks
Steve

Take it to the tire shop lol. That tire has been on there a while.

i know someone with a bead breaker, but I dont think I will have time to take it to him this week. Thats why I was just trying to see what everyone else is doing. I might just run down to the gas station tomorow.

when my freind went to change his tires on his yfz, he couldnt get the beads to break no matter what he did, just take it to the shop and have them take it off, then put the tires on yourself

if they are stockers the side walls flex and they are a son of a *****.
the easiest way i know is to take the valve out and run them over w/ a truck. put the truck tire as close to the rim as u can and creep over it

i cut the tire with a knife and then cut the bead with a dremel

do you have an air hammer? (handheld) i did that on the tire bead, and it came right off.

tried that with two different trucks. I am just going to run outback of my house today and as the mechanic back there to just break the bead, cause once that is done, I can get the rest off.
