So i redid my 2003 400ex inot a 416 weisco piston, with a stage 1 hotrod cam, a hotrod crank. I have a custom built exhaust system and it runs great. Problem is my jetting I am slightly boggish on take off and alittle bit in the mid. I was wondering if anyone has recomendations for jets. I went to a 158 main, 42 slow and went to notch 4 on needle. Any hints guys?????

Maybe I am at 3000ft above sea so I thought i might have to drop a needle size but you could be right about staying stock. Thanx

when i did my 416 i started with the needle on the 4th notch and it bogged a little bit but was really noticable when trying to hold a steady mid throttle setting doing a wheelie it would cut out. i picked the needle up one notch and it was awesome, I had the same problem when i put my 450r carb on and found out that the needle was on the bottom setting so i ended up raising it to the middle and it was great.
