Loosen throttle pull???

when i put on my 450r carb onto my 416ex the throttle pull got alot stiffer, Way stiffer than my buddies stock 06 450r is there anyway to make this not as stiff?

Just check over the way you have your cable ran. The least amount of tension means the cable might be in a bind. Too, those 450r throttle cables are not real long, so you have to get the right path for it to go. Me personally, I had my 450r carb get really stiff like that after a while so I just took off the cable, sprayed some lube through it, then sprayed some lube in the thumb throttle assembly, then last took off the side of the carb and lubed up the springs and cable in there. Since then, the cable has been super smooth and soft to operate. No tension at all. Hope that helps you.
