gearing?

just wondering how many of you guys changed your front or rear sprockets , and what did you choose and what are the results? I'm gonna change mine and thinkin I'm gonna go for bottom end instead of top end? it'll be for mx use. and I've only had my trx for 2 weeks (selling my yfz) and I think I saw on here somewhere,is the gearing differant on an 05 than an 06 ? correct me if i'm wrong but it's 14/38 on an 05 and 13/38 on an 06? any opinions appreciated( not sarcastic ones):p

do you have an 06 or 05?? are you using 18" tires? i have stock 05 gearing with 18's for mx and i love how it works on any track, good gearing with 18's IMO

yeah, I've got an 06. i made a mistake in my statement above i think about the 06. I think it's 15/38 on the 06? and yes I have 18" on the rear and 19's on the front. so you left your gearing stock and your happy? I just orderd the hrc kit and I got a yoshi race system r7 pro pipe to put on still. but i definatly want to make it a little quicker...not that it's bad though.

Yeah its a 13 tooth on the front for the 06. I ordered a 12, I,ll let you know what I think when I get it on.
