lil problem

im new to this site but i have a question for you all....i just bout a brand new left over 05 450R...and i'm gettin ready to take it back in because my red light on the handle bars is coming on...its over heating and i'm noticing that the fan never kicks on...i cleaned everythign real well..and still doesnt come on...has anyone had this problem before?

is the electrical connector plugged in.it's on the front side of motor sticking straight up,and black.unplug it start your r and ground it out to see if fan motor works then.did u check the radiater fluid and recovery tank?.
