has anyone here made there on own extended a-arms?if so what material did you use mild steel?chrome moly? etc....?

i am thinking about making some only with out the ball joints instead using heim joints and maybe heim joints at the frame instead of the sealed bushings.what you guys think?

Theres a guy that lives a few blocks from me taht doew it. He uses mild steel. He also used ball joints but heim joints are way better. Go for it if you want to save the money, just be sure you don't mess up the camber.

You give him your a-arms and he makes the into what ever + lenght you want. He don't supply tie rods though.

if you get wider a-arms your gonna need stiffer shocks because the a-arm has more leverage onto the shock.
