My nephew is looking at a 1986 Quadsport 230. I already hate the thing but he is in love with it and it is cheap, I am a Honda/Yamaha guy and would usually avoid something like this as if it were "the plague". As far as I can tell it needs all the front bushings and rear axle bearings, and probably more (clutch seems iffy).... Do you guys know a good website to check prices at least? Is there like a servicehonda for suzuki's?

I have one too, and they use the same bushings as the hondas. If you look on Rocky mountin, they have kits made to do this. They have evrything you need, but be ready to spend some cash, $60.00 per arm. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDetail.do?prodFamilyId=2052&navTitle=Bearings&webCatId=14&pageLinkUri=&vehicleType=&webTypeId=1&navType=type

The swinger should be cheaper.

By the way, this quad has the fastest reverse gear I have ever riden!:D

thanks guys... I called the guy and he seems like a total dork, he tried to tell me he just did the front bushings last year (yeah, sure buddy..) I wouldn't feel to bad about it, but he is stuck on his $1300 price. He told me to find a nicer one for less than 2 grand. I checked vince's the other night and found a clutch price at dennis kirk. I am trying as hard as I can to sell him on a 300EX.

Stray away from 230s, they have a hell of a motor (mine ran like a champ with half a piston) but the rest of the bikes are garbage. but ya they do have a hell of a reverse gear.
