Even thoguh I'm a HUGe Honda fan, I would go with the Bruin 350 4x4 because I think that it has more power than the Rancher. I will say thought that the Rancher has a great amount of power, but I think the Bruin has more, and will get you farther.

But you also said a good reliable wuad, go with a Honda. I have an 05 with 3350 miles on it and no problems. Just did 115 miles today.
They are easy to do normal maintanence on and is actually good on gas.
Go with the Honda!

i hav a rancher at the farm. they pull really good and they do really good in the mudd. mine doesnt do to bad on gas. i jus got 300 miles put on there from august to now. this winter it was very mild in ohio and it didnt do to bad in the snow and if u did get it stuck in the snow it was 3 to 4 of snow around the buildings. and u had to got get a skidloader to get it out
