the Bored out motor could be Better but For how LOng? That's when you run into problems if you don't have it done by a profesional and sometimes you still have issues.

I don't know much about the new LT450R but I'm sure u can put that cherry bomb, pipe, maybe a cam and piston and you'll be rollin hard:confused:

no a z cant make the same power without being rediculous because the ltr has fuel injection(what the cherrysbombs for).

yeah...even though the ltr is having the first year bugs...it makes alot of power. so if you modded a z motor that much it would cost a ton and probably be less reliable that the ltr...and Bluez440 is right...with a few mods the ltrs are pretty fast

I agree, mod the LTR450. To even build the Z to a true decent reliable 450 you are talking of having to split the cases and stroke it along with boring it. Then this would take a custom piston. Then you're talking cams. Port Job. Valves. Clutch componets. Ignition. Carb. In other words, you would have a bill of atleast $3-4,000 in motor work and still not a guarantee on being competitive against an LTR450. As an example, when I stroked my 400ex, I got every part at dealer cost, built it myself, and still came out spending around $1,600 doing it right.
