best exhaust!

what do you all think the best exhaust is for a '03 400ex?

i just cant figure out what to get!!

(im leaning towards an HMF slip-on)

Dude, did you seriously not do a search. Search for ' 400ex exhaust' and you will get plenty of ideas. As far as slip-ons go HMF is good considering you can get a new one on ebay for around 220. The best slip on is probably a yoshimura. In my case I just got a TC racing ( supertrapp) slip-on and used a dremel on the inside of the stock head pipe. Must work, I got every single 250r, banshee, and any other 4stroke in the holeshot at my races last night. Except 1 450r --- just couldn't catch that guy. But as I was saying seriously do a search next time.

What class do you race in? How do you do in the rest of the race?

I race Open Am. and 250 Am. I usually finish in the top 2 on heat races and top 3 in the main events. Except this weekend I was involved 1 wreck which put me at 6th ( isn't bad since I did catch up and pass 2 others guys, a banshee and a 250r) and a 3rd which a wreck happened over my back, I had the holeshot and was in first for a lap until a guy literally ran over my back and it flipped he landed right in front of me which put me in 7th I believe and I worked my way up to third during the rest of the race. I dunno how I'nm doing it considering I'm still on stock bore and the 250r's looked & sounded pretty hopped up. I'm still on the Amateur circuit until I can sell my truck and fourwheeler to get a 450, yami or honda really, they both have their ups and downs. I know that they aren't 4 strokes I maybe be new to this site, but not the atv world. When I said ' and any other 4 stroke' I meant besides my EX.

deff. go wiht the HMF slip on, or the White Brothers E-Series S-bend. both around the same price and performance
