New Carburetor

I Put a new Jug on my 250r, to make it a 310R. With My new Jug I am also putting on a Keihn PWK 38mm carb. I went to get a new throttle cable, and the bike shop told me that a 250R throttle cable will not work for this carburetor. Does anyone have any experience with this situation, and what did you do. Someone told me that I need a 400ex throttle cable?

motion pro makes a throttle cable for 250R thumb throttle to aftermarket carb. i think nacs racing and magic racing both sell them, motion pro may sale them directly too.

On my 38 airstriker I got the cable from esr250.com. It was less than $20. It works great for me

honda part # 17910-964-000 cant tell how i got it ,,or i would have to kill ya !!:D
