what is the terrain like?
I have a set of maxxis I razr's front and rear.
6 ply radial tire. works real good in anything that ive encounterd. I just had a trip to perry state forest after a week of rain and i know they worked better than my buddies holeshot xcr's. had three lbs of air in them and i got thru everything. they grab a little to much though.
iIve had them grab where others wouldnt and have gotten thrown off

I'd suggest the Kenda Knarly's for trail riding. I know I loved mine when my 400 was running. They gripped well everywhere, and it seems like I just couldn't wear them down. Also, I would recommend the Kenda Klaw XCF for the front.

I love my razr2's. They can have too much grip at times though...I've had them bury themselves in loose soil goin up a steep incline before. They just keep diggin...

I'm running Kenda Klaw tires.. I am EXTREMELY pleased with them. They slide very predictibly. They also off excellent traction in any kind of terrain. I was in some very muddy mess this weekend, and didn't get stuck once. Great tires, especially for the price.

The kenda klaws or the razrs II are the hot ticket for trail riding!
For me i like the razr II

Holeshot HD's are really good in my opinion. They work great on my YFZ for trails and mx. Really good bite in the turns and very durable.

yeah, the only reason I picked Razr2's over the holeshot HD's is that I wanted 22" rears. I'm happy with them although they were kinda expensive.

I am going to try the new ITP GNCC tires this summer when I wear my stock tires down a bit more. They are supposed to be similar to a Holeshot HD but weigh less and actually last longer.

Gotta love the Razr II's they hook up great and will slide when you want them to and the fronts have awesome control.
