help wanted about slip-ons!?!??!

I am looking to buy a slip on for my 400ex and i was looking at the hmf slip ons but they seem to add all low end! i want my slip on to add some low end power but i was owndering if there were any out there that add more top end and not just all low end? oh and noise is an issue so nothing extremely loud. thanks for the replies.:devil :D :devil

hey the T4 is a very nice slip on and it just so happens i have one for u, it is rated just as good as white brothers and beats the fmf megamax and powercore. it adds alot of low end lots of mid and some top. i have one for sale if u want it.

Is the T-4 a good trail and woods pipe? I live where there is alot of trails. and a bunch of fields. Is the T-4 Right for me? Thanx alot.

im gettig the t-4 by the end of this mounth, yes it is a real good trail pipe, because think about it. you round a turn and theres a little strate away that leads to another turn, and the t-4 give you that nice jump then a pull through mid range.

If you want top end Buy a power kit and and a WB rev kit youll notice a great difference all through out the power band!!

T-4 works great for me, bottom mid and top have increased.
Modifying the airbox or removing the lid and rejetting is
important to get the most out of your slip-on, with whichever one you get.

thankx for all of the replies guys. i have heard forma couple of people thatt he t-4's are nice slip-ons but hey are loud. and noice is a concern. i mean i want loud but nothing CRAZY!!! thankx again:devil

a buddy of mine has one and i tell ya you can hear him from aleast a mile away if not more. but in opinion i like the sound of it and it boosts power alot with airbox mods and rejetting. but yes it is loud but it sounds sweet. well later madmike

you should go with the pro circuit t-4 and its not like you couldn't get the quiet core too...that is what i am getting cause if i go trail riding then i just put it in....i guess it takes 3 db off the sound level......that is what i heard.....

My friend has one. I dont like it.
The red peeled of the silencer, it doesnt sound nearly as good as other exhausts, Its loud, but i gives decent power from bottom-mid.

Don't bother with the quiet core. It sounds really bad, also does help with the sound level.

I just put a Supertrapp IDS2 on my 400ex and love it Good throughout the powerband . I bought the racing series and it is loud but they make a quiet core Highly recomended!!
