Sounds like floats are stuck. Get a screw driver handle and tap the side of the carb. It might loosen it. or Your carb might just need cleaned out

i would definitley check the float and also see if the petcock assembly is actually shutting off the fuel when when its in the "off " position if not check out the petcock.

Tap the side of your carb with a screw driver like suggested above. It that dosen't do it then clean out your carb. That should solve your problem.

either the float itself is stuck or the float needle is sticking, both usually caused by trash in your carb

like said previous tap on side might fix. happened to me and it worked. if not crap in the carb and it needs cleaned

the return and vent lines could be swapped if you have a return

take your carb right apart. Pull it all apart and clean it up. Use a good carb cleaner or brakecleen and just take your time making sure you got NO grit in it all. It only takes an hour or so.

sounds like your carb could be cleaned, your floats are sticking, happened to a frend of mine. we took his carb apart, cleaned all the gunk out of it and it worked like new.
