Header Wrap!!

Ive wrapped the stock header on my 400EX and Ive also had some trail time with it installed.

Im very impressed with the oil temp numbers Ive been getting with the header wrap installed. Without the header wrap, Ive been getting temp's as high as 226. With the wrap installed, the highest oil temp reading Ive gotten so far is 191.

Next weekend, Ill get some more running time and Ill post another oil temp reading. Along with that, Ill post details such as what brand of header wrap and what size, install requirements...etc.

I also thought about wrapping the header on my 400. It would make sense because I lit a cigarette of my headpipe the other day out on the trail and got my lighter soaked. It is only an inch or so from the oil reservoir and keeping that heat away from it should help alot. Let everyone know what brand of tape you used, how much, and where you got it. Will appreciate it.
