I found a pw50 Yamaha for sale and was considering getting it for my 7 year old to ride and using it for a pitbike as well. Are these any good and do they have enough power to haul an adult through the pits???

if its a bike for austin, run up to ridersville and get him a ktm50....less then $1600 otd

its too small for you to use but he would have a blast on it...

Haha it would be great to use for a pitbike if you're less then 5'5 and the pits are downhill both ways:p

I dont know pappy he might wanna get a 4-stroke and arent the ktm's 2-strokes I think you should get a pitster pro like PAPPY suggest for pitbikes

Im pretty sure jason wants something that will pull both rolls....for himself and his son. the xr50 will be the best all around, but if he wants it more for his son, then the ktm is fine. if he wants something for himself, he can order a pitster pro.

do what i do...buy both then your covered:p

Yeah,I was looking for something my son can play on and I could ride in the pits on sometimes.I figured as much about the pw50 because you never hear anyone talking about them, that's why I asked.Knowing me I'll probably just buy a crf50 for Austin and a Pitster pro for myself...............it's only money right????

Thanks for the info everybody.;)
