New Peps for YFZ

A friend of mine got a set of pep shocks for his 06 yfz. Baldwin didnt send any info on what to set the frame hieght at, so I just wanted to see if anybody knows what it is or what you feel works best. One more question. On the rear he has just a new shock but the stock linkage. Will he be able to use the stock upper chain roller or will it get ripped off? Thanks

ride height should be roughly 8 inches under the motor mount and 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 at the peg. This is merely a starting point, and he can adjust it from there until it suits him.


if i am not mistaken, the 06 has an improved upper roller location and it shouldnt be an issue.
