how would i fair against a stock 2002 craptor black with a 400ex with pipe and k.n.power kit on a 200foot straight away turn around and back. am i going to be smoked. has any one beaten them on a ex?also i have 20 10 11 xcrs with 15 38 gearing

i beat stock and piped raptors in adrag...especially that short 200 yds? all i have is a pipe and k&n and its jetted.

i always beat raptors, make it wider so u can turn a lot fast and that way u will smoke him, :D works for me

i have beaten many raptors on my 300. It's just the amount of riding skill that counts, not the bike.

In a drag race? You're spotting him 260ccs, about 10 hp, and you don't have much of a weight advantage. Sounds like you better steal his key if you plan on winning.

hmmmmm................. so you say you beat raptors with a 300 huh? It's all about the rider?? 660ccs vs. 282ccs A lil difference. Was the rider of the raptor blind folded, running without gas in the tank, or race in reverse??

Man....I guess ol' boy pput it right. I owned both atv's and a 300 EX will not even close to out drag a raptor.

Ive beaten my friend all the time in a drag race. The quad is fast but skill has alot do with things.

I dunno.... I've been smoked by Raptors on my 400 and I smoke my cousin's when they ride there 300... So I can't see how a 300 can smoke a raptor... Unless it has sum sick mods!

Rider has a skill has alot to with beating someone then most think. Even drag racing.. If you have to get off the line fast, how to get the traction, know when to shift, don't wheelie or shipen the tires too much.

i hate to break it to ya's but if a raptor has a good rider on it there is no way a piped 400ex will beat it. u will need something else like a pipe and 416 or more power than just a pipe. especially on asphalt, the raptor can leave the hole alot better than a 400ex, because the 400 will wheelie alot on the start.

When my Raptor was running my wife could get on it and outrun me on our 300EX. Get off that pipe brother......

If equal riders are on a raptor and 400ex the raptor will smoke one pretty bad in a drag race. **** it should, it's a 660 against a 400. I'd say if you had a good 440 kit and some other mods done an ex could take a raptor but it would have to have some mods done. But if your drag racing on dirt the ex will stay with the raptor pretty good because it's about impossible to keep the raptor down.
