Hey ... when you guys installed the WB head pipe, did you use the stock EX headpipe gaskets or not?? When we took off the his BG system, that the shop installed, to slap on the new WB, there were no gaskets in place.
Rob used stock gaskets with the WB and they just don't seem to fit quite right. Basically, do you have to use those darn things??
Just wondering...

My stock thing(piece of aspestos, call it a gasket if u want) wouldnt fit, it was too fat, so i used some stuff called "Chamber Seal" from Rocky Mountain, works fine, like 6 bux

I am referring to the gaskets(2 on the 400ex) between the headpipe and the cylinder head...not the headpipe and the silencer. Sorry for mix-up.

yep they sure will i just installed mine over the weekend with my wb head pipe and mine is ever "stepped"......but yes the factory ones will work

Stock are just fine but when putting a new exhaust on you should buy new gaskets. Many exhaust manufactures recommend this as well.
