just got my works but have a slight problem

i got my works shocks (3 rates w/ rezzies) and lve them but when i lift the front end of the quad off the ground there is a clank in the shock . is it supposed to do this? it s almost like it s bottoming out only backwards.:huh

Yes all Works Shocks do that.

yup they are work shocks that is a good way to tell, mine did them since i got them, so you are good to go

any other repplies b/c im pissed that i spent 529$$$ for shocks and the sound like *****, it almost as bad as my stearing stem bushing squeaking!!!:mad:

you have to live with it, every work shock does it because you increase the travel and the tie rods are bottoming out (going to far out and can't go any further) which is causing the sound, you don't hear it when you are jumping, when your are ground there is no big clump just a nice smooth ride.

that's works shocks for ya!! as for the steering stem squike, take the front plastic off, remove the stem clamp and put some greese. problem solved. i did it last week and it worked great. made it steer a little easier too,
