Id suggest a properly set up set of 450R shocks. For about the same money as a set of works tripple rates with rezzys, you can obtain a set of 450R shocks and send them to a shock builder to have them set for your weight, riding style and resprung. In the end you will have more features, and better ride quality.

Derisi Racing

the GNCC Racer Santo Derisi does the rebuilds him self. I had him do my shocks and I LOVE them. I think his web site is Derisiracing.com

GT Thunder does a great job with the 450R shocks. The 450R shocks are not quite a direct replacement on the 400EX. They are longer eye to eye then the stock ones. But GT Thunder shortens the compressed length by about 7/8". That makes them ride lower (with their progressive or dual rate springs) and have about the same if not more travel then the stock shocks! They are the only suspension folks that do this (that I know of)!!!!!

C & D racing does them also, BUT all these places are using the same springs and internal valving, just in their own different combinations. You see GT thunder is now setting up Chris Jenks quad this year and he is on fire with 2 wins and has other podium appearances. So I think that says alot about GT's work quality
