My suggestion is get rid of it. They never seem to work unless you want to keep adjusting it ALL THE TIME!

Get a Block off plate. It goes were the cable connects into the rear caliper there cheap under $20.

Like the previous poster said, get rid of it. You can adjust it back to working but you'll have to do so after every ride.

yea...me and my friend both had the same problem as soon as we bought our quads off the showroom floor....guess i could adjust it, but it hasnt really bothered me too much. what exactly does this block off plate do?

When you take the cable off next to the caliper you also need to take off what it is hooked to. The plate goes were that used to and keeps dirt from getting into the internal breaks and looks cool. I would post a pic but can't right now.

i used a cr clutch perch in the place of the parking brake mechanisim

the whole job took less than a half hr.the only prob i ran into was i had to bore out the inside of the block off plate so the caliper piston rod didnt hit it cause when i mounted the plate on,the brakes were locked.
i just installed new rear brakes so i know the rod is at its furthest point out.some you dont have to drill, some do.guess it depends on which plate you go with.

Did not have to drill my Tusk block off either. Got mine from RockyMountain for $8.

It stops premature wear on your brake pads:)

deep six that e-brake setup, more headaches than anything.Put a block off plate on the caliper and change out the clutch lever and perch to get rid of the the e-brake cable
You will be much happier
