Gearing Question

On my 400 ex i am currently running 18inch beadlocks and i am planning on going to the dunes so i bought some paddles that are 20x10x10. I changed my rear sprocket from the stock 38 to a 36 to accomidate the 18 inch rears now my question is will i get better performance if i switch back to the stock gearing with the paddles? I havent messed with the front all i did was change the rear.

I would gear the sucker for tourqe I took mine to the dunes and it was hard to top out. I was in 4rth gear most the time.

i thought going smaller in the rear will gear it higher.....:ermm:
you might want to go 2 sizes taller over stock a get some more torque to play in the dunes with your paddles........

Its just because its a 400 not enough tourqe

go grab yourself a 14 and 16 tooth front sprocket and leave the rear as it is. when you get to the dunes....make a front sprocket change and determine which works best with your set up.
