400ex heat sink

I honestly doubt a heat sink would pull enough heat off the tank to be of any benefit. there is a reason they made the tank thin, and placed it where they did.

A larger oil cooler, air scoops, synthetic oil will all be of more benefit then what you are suggesting, IMO.
