on my 400ex i broke off the left screw while changing my oil filter. How can i fix this. help me plz.
Half is still in there.

Sounds like your going to have to drill it out and re-thread it... But is the metal soft or not, if so you might be able to put hammer a punch into it, and then twist it out, but I doubt it.. Sounds like you'll have to drill it:ermm:

GET AN EASY OUT KIT THEY ARE LIKE 35 BUCKS AND HAVE A SET OF 8 DIFFERENT SIZE EZ OUTS WITH LEFT HAND TWIST PILOT DRILLS, ALOT OF TIMES THE LEFT TWIST DRILL WILL BE ENOUGH TO GET IT OUT.

take the side plate off and you can get to it.

Remove the left bolt, remove the plate, get a good pair of vice grips, clamp down on the bolt real good, soak it in WD-40, and slowely, and gently turn it counterclockwise. This should work. Avoid drilling it out if you can.
Don't rush this process!
