I will be using my 250R for MX but just noticed that the pipe that I have is the Curtis Sparks TT pipe instead of the MX pipe. I have found a ESR 265 PV that I think I will be using and just wanted to make sure this combination would be ok... or should I look for the MX pipe somewhere??

Also is there anyone else using the ESR 265 PV with trx-9 port.
How does it compare to others. Will it provide enough power to compete with the thumpers??

The TT pipe will be fine. Most likely better than the MX pipe. A lot of the engine builders I have spoken with, suggest the TT pipe for MX use. They told me the MX pipe dies off to quickly.

I have a TT Sparks pipe and I like it alot, its more of a mid to topend pipe vs the Sparks MX pipe which I also have. Both are very good pipes and should work well with your combo.

I just bought a Spark Mx pipe on Ebay and there is no tag or markings on the pipe confirming its an MX.

So.... how can one tell the differece between the TT and MX pipes??

Look closely on the "Curtis Sparks" tag on the expansion chamber. Mine has "TT" engraved beside logo in very small letters. You have to look for it.
