From my experiences.. I'd have to say the 4x4 Polaris Scrambler 400 2-stroke would top the charts as the worst.. ;) Most anyone who has owned one would agree. Thank god polaris doesn't make them like that anymore. ;)

I don't think my best friends bro ever finished a ride without a part falling off or breking/bending. Only 4x4 ive seen with a 1/2" diameter lower (only has a lower since it has struts) a-arm.

The motor wasn't really the issue.. it was the rest of the quad.. lol.

well somone didnt single the polaris of course everyone picks the trail blazer cause its a beginner quad compared to full expert quads, it would have been better if the blaster was on there over the trail blazer

my bud rides a 400 scrambler. Peice of *****. Breaks down all the time. He's gone through 3 pistons, and the last one was so bad he needed a resleeve. This is an '01 too. He had a trail port done to it, so that'll put a little more stress on the engine, but not enough to cause all the problems he's had. And yea, the skinny lower A-arms with those big-*** struts. whatta bomb. He rode a 250 trailblazer for awhile too, another POS that gave him all sorts of headaches. But he's a typical Polaris guy, brand loyal to the bone, no matter how screwed up the quads are. (dude says "I don't like clutches and shifting:rolleyes: ) LOL

And the 220 Bayou..... isnt that a 4 stroke ??

And what the hell is a "redcat" ? Iv heard of a Fatcat b4, but not a redcat ?

Redcat, is a off brand atv, another China import.

I hope all you realize the reason gas is so high is because of China & the world trade market.
Makes no difference how high the gas is over there, they have the money to buy it & will.

Any body want to buy a Redcat atv imported from China.

From the list to choose from the polaris is definetly the slowest. It really isn't in the same class at all. As for the chinese quads mentioned earlier I never buy anything from china even if I have to search for it or pay alot more for it. Buying from china is taking our jobs away from us. And as far as gas prices go , they are just a big scam , which is what happens when the oil companies come together to form a monopoly.

Somebody forgot the triZ crappy frame but strong engine and suspension. and lets not forget the tecate 3 and 4 because of few parts and high maintence.

don't make fun of the trikes, tri-z's are great trikes so are the 84-87 t3's and 87-88 t4's, yamaha's run great, but aftermarket support isn't there and the kawi's are great, but maintence sucks and their igntions like to un-glue themselves and grenade. You guys forget, before quads from 79-85 was all trikes and they created the racing as well as the liquid cooled 250r motor and suspension design. The 85/86 atc250r has nearly identical parts as a trx250r, except obvouis frame differences.
