Can you put the newer style 400ex light on an 02' 400ex?

i was wondering what modifications,(if any) that you would have to do to put the newer style 400ex headlight onto a 02' 400ex.

would you just need all of the mounting brakets?

my friend has the new style 400 plastics on his 01
the mounting is the same and all you would have to do is buy the front nose piece wit the light.
