It's all about gearing and rpms.
First off, no stock quad goes 70.
All mods do is get to top rpm's quicker. They may increase rpm's depending on the porting done, thus a slight increase in speed.
If you can go 70 when done, your doing well (stock gearing). :)

At last weekends WPSA race, this dude was telling me all about his stock TRX 450R being clocked at 90. I had to excuse myself to get the chest waders. Best joke of the weekend.

yes gearing plays a role but the 450s do around 75 - 80 and the stock lt500r dos 110 stock. there are alot of quads that do over 70 stock and no gearing changes. 86ghost your lt should be hitting that 80 mark if not more.

No way does a Zilla do 110 stock. Maybe on a lake bed with higher gearing. Stock they should pull 83. For the gearing question, do your own experimenting. Start with a 13 tooth front then move to a 14. See what you like that's how I always did it. People on here won't be riding your quad so we can a only give you a guess on what gear ratio to run. Experiment, and see what you like.
