i was just wonderin how to grind the welds out of the headpipe...i really want to know what tool to use. thanks

A Dremel style tool works great. You could even use a drill, with one of those grinder stone bits on it.

this is simple you need to remove your headpipe and then at about a inch inside you will see the welds....just grind them for a better air flow.

this will add topend me and my friend have test it he have a kn filter ,no lid and rejet...I just grinnd the welds and I was faster in 5th gear pined

Yes it makes a difference. I put a e-series and ground out my welds at the same time as a friend put on his DMC and other than that our bikes were the same and the races were all dead heats. So I say I save a few dollars and got the same performance.
