is the 450r better than the other 450s? I do mostly trail riding and i want to get a new fourwheeler.

I think the honda would be the better trail bike.Thats what i use mine for and love it!!!!!!

I also use mine for trail riding along with the occasional drag race and I love mine. I love being able to carry the front end over the big mud puddles, outrunning everyone else in the straights, and powerslide when I need to. Great bike, but if you get an '04 or an '05, they come stock geared with a 14 tooth front, so it might not have as much bottom end snap like you want. The '06 on the other hand comes with a 13 tooth front. I love my '06. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

i would give the nod for trail riding to the 450r. The 06 is better than the 05/04s but they are still great quads too. I would take an 05/04 before any of the other companys 450s. The yfz isnt very comfortable, (lack of seat foam)...which makes for sore day and the suzuki r450 is set up for mx out of the crate...IMO the 450r will satisfy you perfectly...no matter what year you get you will still be amazed
