I think that I tried PM'ing you about my school graduation project, but I think that it might have said mail box full when I tried sending it. Any way, I got clearance today that I am aloud to do what I want to do.I am going to strip my quad down, guesset it and send it out to get Pc'ed. This is going to be a very detailed report and speech to this, including the entire assembly and dis-assembly. Now, I was just wondering what the price would be for me to send the frame out and get Pc'ed in sparkel red, with the a arms and swinger in flat black. Thanks alot pappy, Im sure that you will give me a good price.

Steve

Oh it wont be until July 24th that I start to tear it apart, cause thats when we start summer break for D-6.

alright so what kind of red would look nice. I just want to stand out from everyone else. Thats why I was thinking red as a primary and a black as a secondary. All I can say is that I didnt expect my heatshield to hold up as good as it has. Not one sign of wear.

So what could I do to the frame after guesseting it to get it ready for you. Is there anyway I could strip it to help me out on the price and you on the work.

What do you think that the price would come too?

Thanks alot Pappy for helping me out. I realy appreciate it.

It only costs me $25 to have a stock painted frame stripped, so its cheaper and less headaches to just send her down once you have done the gusset work.

If a solid red or color is used, I will keep you down under $150 and we are close enough that return shipping may be as simple as meeting up. That price would include just about all your small parts and such, swing arm etc. If there are parts that are already pc'd the cost would be a bit higher, but stock stuff is ok.

I wonder if I can write this off:D

you should be able to right it off. this is for a good cause.:o

the meeting up part will prob cost just as much as shipping the way gas prices are .

So you say it will be 150 if I send the small things like hubs, arms, swing, and rear caliper?

Pappy, I cant tell you enough how much I am going to appreciate this. Oh and do you think that I would have everything back within a month because the last race of the summer is July 23 and the day after wards will be the strip down day. I think that the first race starts on Sept 3rd so I think I will be okay.

hey pappy, I just thought of a small deliemma. You can coat stock a arms. So here is the plan. I am just going to send you the frame and rear caliper (red) and the hubs (flat black) ANd I am justing to go strip and rattle can the a arms and swinger so they match. What would be the price on this?

alright that is good. How do you think a white and blue 300ex would look. I am just trying to look different out there. This is were I am at now. Either blue, red, or flat black frame, with either blue, red, or flat black accents. I will prob be getting new a arms at that time so I will probaly order them bare and have you coat them. How much would the total bill be for (including shipping) for frame, swinger, arms, rear caliper (mabey fronts) foot pegs and some +2 Burgards? Just trying to figure this out completly so I can start my second job to afford this :chinese:. I was thinking ASR arms, but you cant get them, but if you can get burgards at a good price for me, i will get them while I am getting everything else. :bandit:

Again, thanks alot
Steve

well Pappy. The time is approching for this stuff. How busy are you as of now? Also, what will it cost for just the frame to be done in Red? I decided that since I cant coat the arms, I am going to spray paint the rest.

well, the frame is going out tonight. I am going to attach the swinger on it so I can save of shipping. Also, I am just going to send my footpegs, battery box and the small plastic mounts to be painted, should I just attach all of them? Maybe you can get it to the strippers before you go on vaction.:D

Thanks a lot Ken

Well I just stripped and primered my a arms and I am just wondering what kind of spray paint you recommend to use on them to get them to hold up for a decent amount of time.
