I planned on doing what you did and having it sit on the raised up part and just put something under the front. It says its only 13in deep so maybe it will work, guess I need to measure everything.

You will probably need a bigger amp. Im not very good at bridgeing but doesnt that usually double the wattage. so your 2 subs = 1200 rms watts and if your amp is 200 rms watts then bridged = 400 rms. im not sure but for my own subs i got 2x 400 rms subs so i found a amp that pushed 800 rms x 2 chan. if you want to get max performance out of the subs you might want to get a bigger amp.

how are those subs, i found some on ebay for cheap. ive got a 1200w amp, so i should have enough to push them, just wondering how the subs are though

lol...

nice setup shift, minus the audiobahn subs. Are those 2 15's? I bet that setup pounded for sure. That's a setup I'd like to do myself.

If the two 10" subs are 600W RMS each, than you will want to put a 1000W or 1200W 2-channel amp on them. 200W won't make an audible difference so buy whatever is cheaper & better quality. Ask around.

The difference between 1500W and 2000W is only 1dB. That's not even audible. My friend has 2 12" pioneers sealed that can take 500W each, but only has 175W to each, the gain on the amp is down, and the gain on the deck is also down, and it still poouunds. The box you have is ported and also is a bandpass box so I'm guessing it will be a crappy sounding loud one-note wonder. IMHO you could have spent your money better and have been more pleased with the results.

Does anybody want to guess what this sexy beast is?

I have a ported box now, and im pretty satisfied by it. Would a sealed box be better? If it was built RIGHT

Yeah XXX's are pretty mean, just recently i parted with my RE MT 15" i had... loved it, but the yota is nearing completion so i wouldnt be driving the tahoe anymore i decided to sell it... wish i would have kept it and bought a hatchback civic to throw it in...

you dont need a crazy huge amp i have an old rockford fosgate punch 200a mono block amp pushing two mtx 7500s. it hits way harder than my buddies that has 2 mtx 15s and an alpine v12 750 or something watt amp. its all about how you set it up bandpass boxes are crap get a sealed box you will be much happier. im not a huge fan of audiobahn cause thats what every single one of my little brothers highschool buddies bought off ebay. my stereos sound quality blows all of them away
i spent $200 on my amp 6 years ago and its still going strong
$50 for the subs and box from the kid that got 15s
$30 for my 1 farad digital cap (deffinetly worth it)

bigger is not better
more expensive isnt better either
use what you have and upgrade as you go
