can you run twist throttle grips on regular 7/8" bars without the twist throttle. Most of the atv grips I've seen arent as nice as the twist throttle ones. What if I used twist ties and glue would that do the job.

Thanks,
Frank

Neither did I but when I was looking on Dennis Kirk's website some of the grips say for twist throttle and others say thumb. I think the twist ones would work fine but I was just wondering.

Twist throttle grips are different. One of them is just a tad bigger so it can fit over the tube.....

I would not recommend it. The throttle grip is quite a bit larger in inside diameter. Just check around.... alot of the grips you get for bikes you can get for quads too.

I know what you mean about the grips for twist throttles being nicer than the ATV versions. Oury's are that way.

Buy two sets and throw the grips for the twist throttle side in the trash. You've then got two grips left at the diameter you need. It's not the cheapest way to go, but at least you can use the grips you want.

The inside donut also wont let you use your thumb throttle unless you trim it up.

Just buy 2 sets of mx grips. You'll waste the the bigger grips but if you like them that much better it shouldn't matter. Grips aren't that expensive.

I really like this grip no glue and has a larger diameter, it gives your hand something to grip on
