I was wondering if you can get your frame powder coated or do i buy the frame already powder coated? Any Ideas?

Make sure you look for a local shop too. I found a place real close to me that will do it for $85 if it's sandblasted already.

I highly recommend Chris Waters! His work is outstanding!

As for $85.00 ............ remember..........you get what you pay for!

i've seen a lot of chris' work and it's great!! as for price??? i would recomend stripping the paint rather that sand blast, i've heard that it will peen the welds.

Chris, if I ever get a bigger bike Ill be sendin you a PM bout my frame/subframe...I think I might have Kenny do my small stuff....but this is all if I ever get a bigger bike. :(

how about a subframe i did in lollypop red witha clear coat that has prism in it.......and every picture has a different color........

the only thing i have is a red stock axle.........looks very close to the stock hubs......

yeah it is ceramic coated. And it works as a thermal barrier. They claimed that it would keep more heat inside the pipe,,,,,,,,and i thought yeah right,,,,,,,,,


well the other night was running my 400 at the stock car track and by the end of the night my T-4 slip on had got hot and discolored the pipe and the oring melted:eek: But the ceramic coating i put on is still there and the oil still looks like new:D

Sorry no black cherry,,,,,i have black purple,,,,,,,but no cherry.....


BTW,,,,,,,,,the frame for oldnumberseven turned out like crap:( some of the clear puddled and i have to strip it and start over:mad: ,,,,,nothin like practice........sure makes a guy want to throw in the towel though.:confused:
