Suzuki LT230 Quadsport+rolling chassis+parts...part or whole

I have decided to sell complete/part these out.
I have:
1. complete and running LT230 quadsport that needs some work
-shifter shaft is stripped
-lower steering stem bushing is bad
-front brakes are not workinr
-engine cuts out just past half throttle and "ticks" loudly and smokes a bit (it does start up and runs good otherwise- definately could be rebuilt)

2. complete rolling chassis that is in very nice shape
3. another complete bottom end, head, jug and just about all the parts to make another complete engine
4. second set of plastics that are in better shape than the ones on the running quad.

I also have a few other misc parts so just ask if you need something.

I have not looked into it enough to be sure what all is wrong with the running quad. I believe they are both '86 models. So far that is all that I know of. There are many good parts on the quad and would make a good project.

$100 plus shipping. The motor is partly disasembled and I'm not 100% sure every piece is there. I do know the bottom end is complete and the piston and jug are still attached and it seemed to move freely. I also have the head,cam rockers, valve springs and timing chain. There may be a few other parts that go with it but I would have to check to be sure. The side cases are in very good shape also. I can take a few pics tomorrow if you want.

Were you offering $200 for the non running one? If so maybe we can talk. The quad isn't totally complete though.

As for the running one, I'm not really sure what it's worth but if you make me an offer I'm sure we could work something out.

They are very much like the 250x/300ex. 4 stroke 5 speed/ manual clutch with reverse. It would make a good trail quad with some TLC.

im interested but i might take a month or so to get some more money. i had a 300ex but my dad sold it ive been looking for about a year to find a bike that needed work done to it.

350 is my highest. i who have to talk my dad into some money.
im 14 and i need a project so im tryin my hardest to get one.

Not sure if I can wait another month. I really need to get these sold and out of here. If you come up with the cash the quad will be complete for about another 2 weeks or so. If it doesn't sell by then I will part it out on ebay.

Here's the pics of the other 230 plastics. These are not the ones pictured on the first page. They are in decent shape. There is a crack on the right side of the tank area and a dog has chewed the tip of the fender. They are wet in the picture from the rain so they aren't quite that shiney but with some cleaning/trimming they should look good.

Rears look pretty good with a crack or two around the holes for the mud guards and some scrapes.
