Went to Pismo

We went to Pismo this last weekend and it was great. We beat the weather because we rode all day saturday and it was perfect weather. Sunday it rained all day. The sand was real powderish and a lot of trucks and trailers were getting stuck. This was also the first time we got to test out our new 06 450r. This thing pulls hard and doesnt stop. I drag raced the bike and it did really well. The weekend was perfect and I had a lot of fun. Also the dunes are a lot bigger now and they have been opened up a lot which is good. Here's a pic...

Does it get burning hot at pismo like it does in glamis/buttercup? I went out afew weeks ago and it was already like 85-90 degrees in the shade at buttercup. I have been at pismo in late October and it wasn't what I'd say is cold but it definitely wasn't hot. Does it stay under 100 degrees in pismo in July/August/Sept ?

oh yah the weather is around 75-80 degrees aroung july-september. The weather is really nice there year around. It does rain periodically but the weather is perfect when its sunny. You should definately go.

ya i was around 3-4th pole. Where do you live dur911 because i think i saw your bike here in fresno, but not sure. I could be way off. Im sure I saw both of you there. I had a blast, i hope you did too. I think were going again around june 9th.

I live in pismo its any where from 70-90 during the summer and its not that much colder during the winter maybe 65-85. It was 85 on X-mas day here. The weather stays constant because of the ocean. I was also there this weekend at marker 4.

I was at the camp with the two lifted, 4 door, silver, ford f-250's and the big yellow single cab F-250 that said TONKA on the back of it.

400exrider.. I live in the LA/san pedro area.

I do however have cousins that live in Hanford (sp?) so whenever i go up there i usually bring my quad with me.. so its possible that you have seen me around the Fresno area.

I do remember seeing a ford with the letters TONKA. I love those F-250s i think there better looking than any other truck. PismoLocal what kind of bike do you have, and I like your WB e-series pipe that pappy did!!!!:eek2:
