I got and 06 and am looking to buy a good set of A-arms. I was thinking of the LSR arms, but am not too sure. I might be keeping the stock shocks and getting them re-valved and put triple rate springs on them. Looking to go with the +2 set up for MX racing any good suggestions or pictures?

I went with LSR +2 and rode them with stock shocks for a while...now they are off to DeRisi getting revalved for mx.

Thanks for the reply.. What combinations do you guys think work the best.. As in what shock or shock set up work the best with specific a-arms?

I don't have any personal experience with 450 a-arms but I would say Laegers. From what I've heard, they are some of the best, strongest a-arms available for a reasonable price (as compared to Roll Design for example). I have a buddy that is getting some +2 Laegers with Custom Axis shocks for his '06 450R.

Personally, I like Houser a-arms.

Nice 450 eganracing :macho

I plan on getting +2 "standard travel" a-arms too for my '06 450R, which will allow the use of the stock shocks.

I too am doing something similar... Keeping the stock shocks, having C&D Racing revalve them and make the fronts triple rates, and the rear dual rate... Both front and rear with zero preload.

Thanks blake_mx_racer for the picture and reply... Looks awesome!

By the way, does Lone Star a-arms come in various colors to pick from?

I have Houser "red" ones on my 400ex, so currently leaning towards Houser.

Marlin that sounds just like me except I'm having my shocks revavled right now, should be here today or tomorrow, then getting houser +2's very soon. I know this will be stiff but I think I can live with it until I can by the housers.
