Need some honest (non brand loyal opinions). Thinking of new front shocks for the 400EX. 170lbs. rider on stock a-arms. Aggresive trail to B class mx riding. Stockers are just bottoming to easily. Looking for opinons, and no I dont have $800 to stick into 2 shocks. Thanks

Get ya some Works AT Steelers, under $400 and the best $ you'll spend.;)

Elka Rec series. $450 for the fronts. More travel, less fade, lower ride height (ZPS). Great investment.

get some stock 450r shocks and have them rebuilt. they will just as good if not better than elka or works.........Give the guys at Pro Quad Racing a call they could fix you right up

yeah but buying the R shocks will be 200. Plus about 600 to rebuild all 3. Buy aftermarket.

Go on ebay and type in "400ex shocks" and search it. You will be able to find awesome shocks for around $200-$400. Im talking axis, elka, tcs they are all on there. Then get them revalved and serviced.
