i recently bought a used "hrc cam" from someone. or so i think. i got the cam in and it looks alot like the stock cam. its doesnt have any markings or part #'s on it. except the ones on the bearing. is there anything to identify the cam i have if it is truly the hrc cam.

I believe the HRC cam has three grooved rings on the end of the camshaft. Maybe someone else can verify this

So do some stock cams !! If you look at the cam from the decompression side, look at the hole in the lobe, the hrc has a bigger lobe and the hole looks to be in a different location ...

I have have changed a few cams !!

the only way bearing #'s would be diff, is diff size bearings.

example: sks 2350 is the same as a timken 2350

the # on the race of the bearing is its size or code
